From law to concept store
"I'm Lara. After earning a master's degree in law, I worked for three years in the legal field. A rich experience, but over time, the urge for a new challenge and a more creative project took hold of me."
The founder
Lara is the founder of Lära Concept Store, Rue Lanfray 15 in Ixelles. After a master's degree in law and three years working in the legal field, she created a warm, genuine and ethical place devoted to objects with meaning and to natural wine.
"I'm Lara. After earning a master's degree in law, I worked for three years in the legal field. A rich experience, but over time, the urge for a new challenge and a more creative project took hold of me."
"With Lära Concept Store, I wanted to create a place that felt like me: a warm, genuine and ethical space, home to natural wine and objects that have meaning."
"Every piece is chosen with care, to showcase Belgian and European makers who share my love of craftsmanship, sustainable design and authenticity."
They are ceramicists, glassblowers, designers. All share the same drive: creating with conscience. At Lära, we love telling their stories, their materials and their gestures — because an object takes on its full meaning once you know the hand that shaped it.
The cellar follows the same logic as the objects: identified producers, tasted bottles, and advice given out loud rather than on a technical sheet.
"My aim is simple: to offer a shop where you feel good, where every object has meaning, and where you can find lovely ideas for yourself or to give."
